It's impresskve, this Fruitmarket exhibition. The subtitle refers to light and space and it certainly evokes both as well as colour which i found more unexpected in this context. In the upstairs gallery i moved cautiously with semi translucent and reflective surfaces here and there, even a suspended net, to me near invsible. There was a playfulness about some objects yet all had me asking questions as the works explore the nature of reality at a deep level. I was entranced as well as challenged by Robert Irwin's #2220, 1969, of which I may be able to post a detail soon. I found Tacita Dean's Disappearance at Sea arresting in its synthesis of film and sound. Definitely worth a visit - or two.
