working on collograph #2

Time to speed up my pace on work for the Visible group exhibition in November. I developed the basis for a collograph during the week of intensive Studio Practice in August with Jill Boualaxai and Matt Storstein. It needed further image and composition development and I decided in the interim a smaller version would better convey the theme. A session at Edinburgh Printmakers today, choosing paper, measuring and marking the layout, was very satisfying. The greater amount of work is still ahead but this is a good start.
