Christmas and cards

Leith School of Art has a long-standing tradition of inviting staff, students and friends to create one or more works for the wall of cards that features in the Christmas Exhibition. I enjoy the process of allowing a theme to loosely emerge from my imagination and chance connerctions. This year my family history work has got me interested in staircases and they've fed into the card image which I've called "Where it begins". A detail:
