Fountainbridge project

Whilst searching the holdings of the National Library for Scotland in connection with the project, I found there is a very short film - approx 2.5 minutes. Though brief it is promising as a way to sense the atmosphere and surroiundings at a given date. A soundtrack would have been an exciting find but it is a silent film. Looking into how I could view it has given me an education in the intricacies of access to the library's moving image archive, which is located in Glasgow. It would have to be converted to DVD format and so far I have asked only the price of a loan. It would be for individual viewing, just like any film, the brevity has no bearing on this. I plan to submit a request.
